George "Buddy" Guy američki je blues gitarist i pjevač. Predstavnik je i promicatelj čikaškog bluesa te je utjecao na gitariste kao što su Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Jimmy Page, Keith Richards, Jeff Beck, John Mayer i Stevie Ray Vaughn. Tijekom 1960-ih, Guy je svirao s Muddyjem Watersom kao studijski gitarist u Chess Recordsu i započeo je glazbeno partnerstvo s harmonikašem Juniorom Wellsom.

Guy je rangiran na 30. mjestu časopisa Rolling Stone na listi "100 najvećih gitarista svih vremena". Njegova pjesma "Stone Crazy" nalazi se na 78. mjestu Rolling Stoneove liste "100 najboljih pjesama za gitaru svih vremena". Clapton ga je jednom opisao kao "najboljeg živućeg gitaristu". Clapton je, zajedno s B. B. Kingom, vodio Buddyjevo uvođenje u Kuću slavnih rock and rolla 14. ožujka 2005.

Njegova autobiografija "When I Left Home: My Story" objavljena je 2012. godine.
